The trek from Darcha to Padam And Padam To Lamayuru is difficult. You will cross a many high passes and walk at an altitude above 5080 metres.
The highest point is 5080 (Shingo-La).
The best season is from July to the End of September

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi -
Late at night welcome at Indira Gandhi International Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel. |

Day 02 : Delhi /Chandigarh (353m) /Manali (2050m by Train & 300 kms by Road) -
Morning Transfer to the Railway Station board the train to Chandigarh. Met on arrival and drive to 300 kms by Bus |

Day 03: Manali /Full day sightseeing -
Morning after breakfast, visit the 400 years old wooden Hadimba temple and visit old Manali Village. After visit Vashisht a special kind of religious place where you can find hot springs to relax. PM explore Manali bazaar and the local culture. Experience the local culture through its warm and hospitable people. Overnight food and stay at hotel. |

Day 04 : Manali /Darcha (3400m) Via Rothang Pass (3978m 140 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Darcha. Form lush green valley to the Buddhist lunar world of Lahaul in a span of few hours after crossing the Rothang pass (3978m) Spend some time at the pass to enjoy the beauty around. Day 05 : Darcha /Ramjak (3750m 5 hrs Trek) -

Day 06 : Ramjak /Lakong (4450m) Via Shingo-La (5080m 7- 8 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast start the trek with packed lunch to Lakong. From Ramjak, ascending is not so hard Upto the foot of Zankar Sumdo (4000m) it takes around 4 hours, and in between several streams are to be crossed. For another 1 hour follow zig-zag path, after passing through flat land, upto Shingo-la (5080m) after crossing several stream go down to Lakong. Camping at Lakong (4450m). sights in Zanskar. Phuktal belongs to the tradition of the Gelupas (yellow-hat monks). The monastery is like a honeycomb, cut into a rock under a gignantic grotto, and has 70 monks. Back to Purne and Overnight food and stay in Tent. |

Day 11 : Purne /Ichar (5-6 hrs Trek) -

Day 12 : Ichar /Reru /Mone (3800m 5-6 hrs Trek) -
Morning, after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Reru or Mone. Today also all the trek is down and re- cross over the left bank of Tsarap river, climb before crossing a major tributary bridge, now go on descending towards Reru and after contenua trek to arrive at Mone. Overnight food and stay in Tent. |

Day 13 : Mone /Padam (3650m 5-6 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Padam. En route visit Bardan monastery. Path near the monastery, beware of the red-cap monks, ferocious dog a very steep incline will lead to the main trail to Padam and after 2 hours trekking to Bardan Monastery (3600m) is reached. This kagyupa monastery is famous for its giant wheel (1.8 metre high) the monastery was founded by Shabdru, who also founded Hemis monastery and later went to Bhutan. Nearby is spring in the rocks. From Bardan a dusty motorable road joins Padam. Padam is the capital town of Zanskar and linked with a motorable road to Kargil, Leh and Srinagar. Overnight food and stay in Tent. |

Day 14 : Padam /Karsha (3610m 3-4 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Karsha. Today is a very easy and short trek. Proceed towards pipiting then after passing through dusty plain cross doda river by a bridge, climb and arrive at Karsha A 15 th Century Gelupa Monastery (popularly known as karsha Gompa) dominates the scene. Day 15 : Karsha /Pishu (3665m 4-5 hrs Trek) -

Day 17 : Hanumil /Snertse (3745m) via Purfi-La (3900m 6 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Snertse via Purfi-La. Today 4 hours easy path beyond Hanumil, then, it leads upto plateau from Zanskar edge, then to the foot of the pass. After steep and difficult climb will lead to Purfi-La (3900m), a 4 hours after steep descent will reach Oma-Chu river. After crossing a bridge and then around 3 kms sandy slope, Snertse, a wonderful campsite. Arrive and Overnight stay in Tent. |

Day 18 : Snertse /Lingshet via Hanuma-La (4700m 5-6 hrs Trek) -

Morning after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Lingshet. Ascent through gorges and then passing a sheep fold 2 hours. Further 2 ½ hours will take to reach Hanuma La (4700m) after a kilometre of steep descent, climb for half a kilometre, along mountainside and then descent towards Lingshet (3800m). Camp near the monastery. Arrive and Overnight stay in Tent. |

Day 19 : Lingshet /Marling (3825m) Via Singe-La (5230m 5-6 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Marling via Singe-La. After crossing Singe La. Singi La means the Lion's Pass which is also the highest pass of this trek. First the climb is through the treminal moraine and then through the long glacier. The climb is not steep but the descent through the steep glacier is a little difficult. The day is quite long and tiring. Arrive and Overnight stay in Tent. |

Day 20 : Marling /Photoksar (3750m) Via Boumitse-La (4200m 6 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast start the trek with packed lunch to reach Photoksar via Boumitse-La. Today also bit difficult trek. It takes about 2 hours to reach on the top of the pass, after crossing Boumitse La (4200m) Photoskar Village is a town of clusters of homes, green fields, and a gompa above in a dark brown cut crop. Arrive and Overnight stay in Tent. |

Day 21 : Photoksar /Hanupatta (3830m) Via Sirsir-La (4000m 6 hours Trek) -
Morning after breakfast start the trek with packed lunch to reach Hanupatta. From Photoksar, after a gentle climb of one hour takes you to a large chorten after a long ascent is Sirsir-La, last ascent is steep. Now descents to river, cross before and after passing stony valley arrive at the campsite. Arrive and Overnight stay in Tent. |

Day 22 : Hanupatta /Wanla (3645m 5-6 hrs Trek) -

Day 23 : Wanla /Lamayuru (4190m 4 hrs Trek) -
Morning after breakfast start the trek with packed lunch to reach Lamayuru. After passing the Village of Shilla, go to a broad chorten then follow a narrow and dry gorge, reach Prinkiti-La (3725m) now one easy descent, after crossing river, Lamayuru Village is reached. PM visit Lamayuru gompa which is one of the most impressive and well maintained monasteries in Ladakh. Arrive and Overnight stay in Tent. |

Day 24 : Lamayuru /Leh (3500m) Via Alchi (130 kms by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast drive to Leh. En route visit Alchi Choskor, "religious enclave" is the most famous and largest of all the Gompa built by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo, the Translator, in 11th century. The main image is that of Vairocana but there can also been seen the Five Buddha Families together with their attendant deities, the beautiful and various forms of the buddhas and bodhisattvas moulded in clay, carved in wood and painted on the walls. After continue to drive to Leh. Arrive and overnight stay at Hotel. |

Day 25 : Leh /Shey and Tiktse Gompas /back Leh (3505m by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Shey, situated on a hillock 15 kms southeast of Leh. Visit the palace gompa built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17th Century Ad. The main image in the monastery is three-stored statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, made of copper guilt. There are a large number of ancient chortens and the five dhyani Buddhas rock carving (circa 8th century). After drive 4 kms to Tiktse and visit the monastery situated on a hilltop overlooking the village and the Indus. Tiktse Gonpa belong to the Gelukspa order (the yellow hat). There are several temples containing thangkas, stupas, wall paintings and a colossal statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha. Come back to Leh. Overnight stay at Hotel. |

Day 26 : Leh /Delhi /Agra (1H by Flight and 200 kms by Road) -

Day 27 : Agra /Delhi (200 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast, visit the Taj Mahal, the most elaborate tomb ever erected, in memory of beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in 1631, by Emperor Shah Jahan. Taj Mahal is built of pure white marble and is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the world. After, drive to Delhi. Overnight stay at Hotel. |
