The trek from Lamayuru to Stok is easy. You will cross a many high passes and walk at an altitude above 3000 meters.
The highest point is 5360m (Taglang La).
The best season is from June to October.

Day 01 : Arrival Delhi -

Day 02 : Delhi /Leh (3505m 1H by Flight) -

Day 03: Leh /Shey and Tiktse Gompas /back Leh (3505m by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Shey, situated on a hillock 15 kms southeast of Leh. Visit the palace gompa built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17th Century Ad. The main image in the monastery is three-stored statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, made of copper guilt. There are a |

large number of ancient chortens and the five dhyani Buddhas rock carving (circa 8th century). After drive 4 kms to Tiktse and visit the monastery situated on a hilltop overlooking the village and the Indus. Tiktse Gonpa belong to the Gelukspa order (the yellow hat). There are several temples containing thangkas, stupas, wall paintings and a colossal statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha. Come back to Leh. Overnight stay at Hotel. |

Day 04 : Leh /Hemis /Leh (3505m 86 kms by Jeep) -
Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Hemis Gompa to witness the morning religious ceremony (puja). It's a very soothing and spiritual experience to be there among these warm and friendly monks. After, visit Hemis Gompa, founded in the 17th century. It is the richest and the largest monastery of the area. Come back to Leh.Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 05 : Leh /Lamayuru (4191m) Via Alchi (125 kms by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Lanayuru. En route visit Alchi Choskor, "religious enclave" is the most famous and largest of all the Gompa built by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo, the Translator, in 11th century. The main image is that of Vairocana but there can also been seen the Five Buddha Families together with their attendant deities, the beautiful and various forms of the buddhas and bodhisattvas moulded in clay, carved in wood and painted on the walls. After continue drive to Lamayuru. PM visit Lamayuru monastery also founded by Rinchen Zangpo in 10 th century. This monastery is located amidst the massive mountains. The spectacular setting of this monastery and its renowned collection of carpets, tangkhas and frescoes has been attracting many people over along time. Overnight food and stay in Tent. |

Day 06 : Lamayuru /Wanla (3645m) Via Prinkiti La (3725m 4-5 hrs Trek) -
Morning, after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Wanla. It is a walk through narrow gorges and you cross Prinkiti La. (3700m) the climb to this pretty notch in the ridge is easy. From the top you look over the complicated terrain of the Zanskar Mountains to snow-clad rock spires and the konzke La in the east, over which the route passes. PM. Day 10 : Dung Dung La Base Camp (4800m) /Dung Dung La (4800m) /Chiling (3250m 05 hrs Trek) -

Morning, after breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch to reach Chiling. This Village is famous for producing some of the best metal work in Ladakh. It is believed that people may be descended from Nepalese craftsmen who came to Ladakh in the 17th century to help construct the statue of Buddha at help construct the statue of Buddha at Shey. Day 15 : Stok La /Stok /Leh (3505m 05 hrs Trek and 25 kms by Jeep) -

Day 16 : Leh /Sarchu (4252m) Via Taglang-La (5360m 246 kms by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Sarchu. The road is the world's second-highest motorable road, reaching 5360m at Taglang La. After, arrive at Sarchu, the border of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir States. Overnight food and stay in tent on terraces above the river valley. |

Day 17 : Sarchu /Keylong (3348m) /Manali (2050m 229 kms by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Manali. The road goes over the Baralacha La (4880m) at the crossroads of Lahul, Zanskar, Spiti and Ladakh regions. The Bhaga, Chandra and Yunan rivers fall away from its sides in different directions. Reach Keylong, small and peaceful town surrounded by impressive mountains. After cross the Rohtang Pass (3980m) and relish the breathtaking view of surrounding mountain peaks of Himalaya covered with snow. Arrive at Manali, surrounded by lush orchards and dark forests, typical of the fertile Kullu Valley. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Morning after breakfast, visit to Vashist - a special kind of religious place where you can find hot springs to relax. Visit and explore old Manali by meeting the local people and experience the local culture. Spend the evening at the famous Manali club house. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 19 : Manali /Chandigarh (353m 320 kms by Jeep) -
Morning after breakfast, drive to Chandigarh. This city was created by French architect Le Corbusier. The only city in India where there is neither colony nor sky scrapers. Here enjoy the famous Rock Garden which is unique in the world. Visit of Chandigarh Museum. Overnight stay at hotel. |
