Kalandi Pass Trek !!
(21 days Delhi to Delhi / 11 days of Trek)
(Best Season : End Of April To June And Mid August To Mid Of November)

Place To visit : Delhi, Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Bhujbasa, Nandanvan, Vashuki Tal, Kharapattar, Sweta, Kalandi Base, Rajkhark, Arwa Nala, Ghastoli, Mana, Badrinath, Joshimath, Aulli, Haridwar.
       
 
Kalandi Pass is the height and hard trek situated in Garhwal Himalaya, this trek joined two districts Uttarkashi and Chamoli, this trek highest point is 5980m. Actually this trek goes near by China border. In this trek there is very beautiful panorama view surrounded the valley and wonderful snow mountain and nice landscape. Like Glaciers, ice table, colorful lakes and snow bridges and hinging glaciers etc. This is a really wonderful and beautiful trek. And this trek you will see most things like source of Ganga, holy Ganga temple, villages, big crevices and Asia's longest Gangotri glacier 28 kms long, and also Holy Badrinath Temple.
The trek starts from Gangotri and the 13 days of trek are difficult. The highest Point is 4463m (Tapovan)
 
       
 
Day 01 : Arrival Delhi -
Arrival Delhi and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing of Delhi. Evening tour briefing. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi/Rishikesh (340m 225 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar 6 hrs the city of temples and Ashrams. Evening see the Arti Ceremony at mini Ghat. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
     
 
Day 03 : Rishikesh /Uttarkashi (1158m 164 kms by Road) -
Morning 7 hrs, drive to Uttarkashi thus entering the Himalaya. Uttarkashi altitude the last civilised township. Evening visit the Arti performance at the 400 years old lords Shiva temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
       
 
Day 04 : Uttarkashi /Gangotri (3048m 100 kms by Road) -
Early Morning after breakfast drive 6 hrs to Gangotri. Visit the 18th century granite temple, dedicated to the Goddess Ganga, where she is believed to have descended to earth. It is situated on the right bank of the Bhagirathi River. Hindus believe that Ganga (here Bhagirathi) came down from heaven after King Bhagirath's centuries-long penance. He wanted to ensure his dead relatives' ascent to heaven by having their ashes washed by the sacred waters of the Ganga. When the tempestuous river arrived on earth, the force of her flow had to be checked by Siva who received her in the coils of his hair, lest she sweep all away. Later for an exploration walk in this mini exotic township. Evening to experience the prayers at the Ganga Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
       
 
Day 05 : Gangotri /Bhujbasa (3742m 14 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack launch trek starts a gradual 5 hrs towards the great Gangotri Glacier, through a wide open valley of pine forest and glimpses of Himalayan peaks and the silence of the Himalaya, punctuated only with the hymns of an occasional Yogi in his state of worship. Beauty in enchanting form. Evening visit and meet the Sadhu at Ashram for tales of mythology. Overnight stay in tent.
 
       
 
Day 06 : Bhujbasa /Nandanvan (4340m 10 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch trek starts for Nandanvan via Gaumukh is the source of Ganga after trek continue uphill to Nandanvan the path continue goes up over the glacier this day the route is fully glacier moraine and on the way you can see beautiful landscape and surround the beautiful snow covered peaks like Bhagirathi, Shivling, Meru, Kharchkund etc. Overnight stay in tent.
 
       
 
Day 07 : Nandanvan /Vashuki Tal (4880m 09 kms Trek ) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch starts trek to Vashuki Tal this day very good trek route all route goes
 
 
up. After two hrs you will cross the Vasuki Glacier, reach Vashuki Tal. In the Vashuki is beautiful lake it is possible you can took bath in the lake. And near camp you can see the beautiful snow cover peaks. This place is the base camp of Vashuki peak, Sotopanth, and chattering etc. The Sotopanth peak (7070m) is the highest peak of this Gangotri region. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 08 : Vashuki Tal (4880m)/ Full day leisure -
 
     
 
Day 09 : Vashuki Tal /Kharapattar (5400m 08 to 09 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch trek starts to Kharapattar this day you cross the Sotopanth glacier and this day also hard trek all the day you walk on the glacier and moraine up and down, but on the way you see same mountains. After you will cross the glacier reach Kharapather nice campsite. Overnight stay in tent.
 
       
 
Day 10 : Kharapattar /Sweta (5600m 08 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch trek starts to Sweta this day also hard trek full the day walk on the glacier and moraine. But this day you can see the beautiful and colourful small-small lakes on the glacier and this day you will see also Sweta, Chandra Parvat and Rudranath peak. But this day is not good campsite. This day camp pitch on the moraine in the Sweta bamak. Overnight stay in tent.
 
       
 
Day 11 : Sweta /Kalandi Base (5780m 07 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch trek starts to Kalandi Base this day also hard trek and continue follow the moraine and glacier. But this day more beautiful view and you will see kalandi pass from Kalandi base which is (5980m) but this day also campsite is not good, on the snow and in the night little bit cold. Overnight stay in tent.
 
       
 
Day 12 : Kalandi Base /Rajkhark (4010m 12 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch trek starts to Rajkhark this day long trek and very hard trek all the day
 
 
walk one the snow and this day cross the Kalandi pass (5980m). From base camp to pass all uphill climb and takes time 2/30 hrs enroute many crevices, but from in top you can see beautiful view and the surround the snow-covered peak. After continue trek down also many crevices and this day very good campsite. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 13 : Rajkhark /Arwa nala (3800m 10 kms Trek) -

Day 14 : Arwa nala /Ghastoli (3600m 10 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch trek starts to Ghastoli this day very easy trek to down and follow full day Arwa nala. Arwa nala and Saraswati river confluence in near Ghastoli. Ghastoli is the last army cheek post and interline you must take permit from Uttaranchal Govt and with passport. Overnight stay in tent.
 
       
 
Day 15 : Ghastoli /Mana /Badrinath (3096m 14 kms Trek /3 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast with pack lunch the trek starts to Mana. These 14 kms trek are easy continues down till Mana Village. Saraswati River and Alaknanda River confluence in Mana Village. After drive to Badrinath. Overnight stay at tourist bungalow/hotel.
 
       
 
Day 16 : Badrinath /Mana Village (3100m) /Badrinath (3096m) (6 kms by Road) -
Full day sightseeing. First visit Badrinath, abode of Lord Vishnu. Surrounded by the Nilkanth, Nar and Narayan ranges, along the left bank of river Alaknanda, Badrinath is among the most sacred of India's holy cities. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help alleviate the suffering of humanity, the earth was unable to withstand the force of its descent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into twelve holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath. . After visit Mana Village where you can see Vyash Gufa, where Maharshi Vyash wrote Mahabharat (Holy book of Hindu). This village is famous for woollen handicraft cloth like blanket, carpet, shawl, sweater, etc. Return back to Badrinath for overnight stay at tourist bungalow/hotel.
 
       
 
Day 17 : Badrinath /Joshimath (1875m) /Auli (2740m) (48 kms by Road /3 kms by Cable Car) -
Morning after breakfast drive to Joshimath. En route, cross Vishnuprayag, one of the five holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. The five auspicious confluences, named "Panch Prayag", are Deoprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag, where the Alaknanda, which rises near Badrinath, meets the Dhauli Ganga river 10 kms north of Joshimath. From Joshimath take a cable car ride to Auli - a winter ski resort, at the height of 2740m. Auli provides excellent opportunities for cross-country, slalom and downhill skiing events. When not skiing, visitors can feast their eyes on breathtaking views of peaks like Nanda Devi (7873m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m) and Dunagiri (7006m), without being aware that their seeming closeness is a more illusion. Time loses all meaning while these panoramic sights engross you. Overnight stay at tourist bungalow/hotel.
 
       
 
Day 18 : Auli /Haridwar (292m 300 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Haridwar in 8 to 9 hrs. On the way cross four prayags, the holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it's the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). The two become the Ganges. Check in hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
       
 
Day 19 : Haridwar (292m) -
Morning after breakfast, by cable car hill visit to Mansa Devi Temple for a fascinating view of Ganges and this festive religious town. Later to visit to main Ghat Har Ki Pairi (the footstep of God), is supposed to be at the precise spot where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. Consequently the river's power to wash away sins at this spot is superlative and the seat of sanctity is a footprint Lord Vishnu left in a stone here. Each evening at sunset priests perform the Ganga Aarti, or river worship, ceremony here, when lights which are set on the water drift downstream and the priests engage in their elaborate rituals. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
       
 
Day 20 : Haridwar /Delhi (202 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi in 6 hrs. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
       
 
Day 21 : Departure -
Morning sightseeing Delhi PM. Transfer to Airport for international flight departure.
