The serene Himalayas in Uttaranchal are home to the Gods. Known popularly as "Devbhumi" (abode of the Gods), the hill state is well known for its sacred destinations, especially the four "dhams", namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.

the Red Fort in red sandstone built by Emperor Shahjahan ; the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India ; the Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi ; the Rastrapathi Bhawan, the Official residence of the Indian President and the India Gate, the war memorial which commemorates 90,000 Indian soldiers killed fighting for the British in World War. Day 02 : Delhi /Haridwar (292m 202 kms by Road) -

Day 03 : Haridwar /Gaurikund (1981m 233 kms by Road) -

Day 04 : Gaurikund /Kedarnath (3584m14 kms Trek) -
Morning after breakfast trek up towards Kedarnath 5 hrs along with the caravan of Hindu pilgrims. Amidst the dramatic mountainscapes of the majestic Kedarnath range, on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. The origin of the revered temple can be found in the epic Mahabharata. According to legend, the Pandavas sought the blessings of Lord Shiva to atone their sins after the battle of Mahabharata. Lord Shiva eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. One being followed, he dived into the ground, leaving behind his hump on the surface. The lingam here is pyramidal in shape and considered as one of the twelve jyortirlingam (lingam of light). Overnight stay at hotel /tourist bungalow. |

Day 05 : Kedarnath /Gaurikund /Rudraprayag (610m 14 kms Trek and 80 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast trek downhill to Gaurikund 4 hrs. After lunch drive to Rudraprayag, one of the "Panch Prayag", the five holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. It is the confuence of the rivers Alaknanda - which rises near Badrinath and Mandakini - flowing from its source at Kedarnath. The bustling commercial centre is also famous as the place where Jim Corbett shot a man-eating leopard. Evening visit beautiful Dari dabe temple Overnight stay at hotel /tourist bungalow. |

Day 06 : Rudraprayag /Joshimath (1875m) /Badrinath (3096m) (100 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Take lunch at Joshimath and after drive to Badrinath, abode of Lord Vishnu. Surrounded by the Nilkanth, Nar and Narayan ranges, along the left bank of river Alaknanda, Badrinath is among the most sacred of India's holy cities. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help alleviate the suffering of humanity, the earth was unable to withstand the force of its descent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into twelve holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath. Overnight stay at hotel /tourist bungalow. |

Day 07 : Badrinath /Mana Village /Joshimath (48 kms by Road) -

see Vyash Gufa (cave), where Maharshi Vyash wrote Mahabharat (Holy book of Hindu). This village is famous for woollen handicraft like blanket, carpet, shawl, sweater, etc. After reach Joshimath by crossing Vishnuprayag, one of the five holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. The five auspicious confluences, named "Panch Prayag", are Deoprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag and Vishnuprayag where the Alaknanda, which rises near Badrinath, meets the Dhauli Ganga river 10 kms north of Joshimath. Day 08 : Joshimath /Rishikesh (348m 253 kms by Road) -
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh in 10 hrs. On the way cross four prayags. Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it's the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). The two become the Ganges. Check in hotel upon arrival. Evening for Arti Ceremony at tribune Ghat Ganga. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 09 : Rishikesh /Full Days -
